The Theatre Royal Remembered

Conor Doyle

Conor Doyle is a radio presenter and producer, and a theatre historian. He is a nephew of Ursula Doyle, who performed in the Theatre Royal, and godson of Jimmy O'Dea, to whom Ursula was married. The 'Royal' was the people's theatre. Dubliners had a sense of belonging for it, and its passing was like a death in the family.

Conor has a special interest in the Theatre Royal, and has spoken extensively on its history. With this personal family background and wide presentation experience, we will be treated to an entertaining evening for sure.
